TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free), launching next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android, promises a fresh take on the franchise.
This new title blends the original's turn-based combat with roguelite mechanics, creating a highly replayable monster-collecting experience. The Steam page highlights key features including 10 dynamic biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is available for free on mobile. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its release coincides with the Steam and Switch versions. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing, especially its potential as a quick, engaging mobile title, judging by the Steam screenshots. In the meantime, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS.
What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet? Have you played the original Coromon?
