Atuel: An Immersive Documentary Experience
Atuel explores the stunning yet climate-change-affected Atuel River Valley in Argentina. Players embark on a transformative journey, shapeshifting into various animals and elements within the ecosystem, becoming intrinsically linked to the landscape. Experience the thrill of soaring through the skies, then the tranquility of flowing as the river itself.
The game seamlessly integrates real-life interviews with historians, biologists, geologists, and local residents, offering profound insights into the region's history, current state, and climate-shaped future. Matajuegos collaborated with The 12.01 Project, an international documentary team, to bring these compelling narratives to life.
Atuel's visuals are truly captivating. Inspired by the Cuyo desert, the game's landscapes possess an almost otherworldly beauty.
While Android pre-registration is pending, you can visit the Steam page or official website for more information. The mobile version will feature seven new languages and full controller support.
