Ubisoft unveiled the newest Rainbow Six Siege operator, Rauora, at the Six Invitational. This New Zealand attack operator boasts a unique gadget: the DOM launcher.
The DOM launcher deploys a bulletproof shield, destructible only by explosives, exclusively in doorways. A trigger mechanism allows anyone to activate it, but the opening speed varies: one second for attackers, three seconds for defenders – a potentially game-changing difference, especially during defuser plants.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine, to the game. She can also equip either the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.
Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the coming week, with a later release date for the main game.
