Some quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* require a trip to Kuttenberg before becoming available. Reaching Kuttenberg, however, unlocks inter-region travel, opening up new adventures. Here's how to tackle the "Under the Straw Hat" quest.
"Under the Straw Hat" is unlocked by first completing "In Vino Veritas," a side quest in Kuttenberg. Upon arrival, locate Casper Rudolf, offering free wine samples on the city's west side. He needs information to improve his wine. You can either impress Havel with your wine knowledge directly (requiring fine clothing and cleanliness) or retrieve Casper's book from Adleta for more information. To impress Havel, choose "Germany," "Steinberger," and "It's missing ginger" as your responses. Return Casper's findings to him.
Accessing the Vineyard
Casper next tasks you with infiltrating the vineyard north of Kuttenberg to investigate a specific incense. Avoid trespassing by sticking to the main road. Speak to the recruiter at the vineyard entrance to initiate the "Under the Straw Hat" quest. Continue along the road, passing a guard, to find Jerome on a bench. Inform Jerome of your assignment.
Jerome will provide details about vineyard work.
Working at the Vineyard
Work begins the following day. Return to the vineyard after resting. For payment, move sacks and harvest thistles. Alternatively, bypass these tasks to focus on finding the secret incense in the cellar of the main building. Accessing the cellar requires lockpicking or stealing Jerome's keys. Locate the chest containing Sulphur Wicks to complete the main objective. For additional reward, collect five seedlings (located across the building from the main entrance—be quick to avoid being caught). Return the wicks (and optionally, seedlings) to Casper for completion.
Complete your work duties and collect payment from Jerome, or return directly to Casper to finish "Under the Straw Hat" and "In Vino Veritas." This opens up further quests like "Master Schindel's Toys."
