Begin by accepting the side quest "Lackey" from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek's home, west of Tachov. Alternatively, speaking with Vitek (slightly southeast of the house) will also initiate the quest, as Zlata directs you to him first. This leads you north, where you'll find Vostatek under attack by wolves.

Searching for Pepik in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After rescuing Vostatek, he asks you to carry him to his campsite where he tethered Pepik. Follow his directions; it's straightforward, but be mindful of your stamina—dropping Vostatek means starting over.
Upon reaching the campsite, you discover Pepik is gone. Follow the trail of clues, examining each one as prompted. This path leads to a poacher's camp.

As suspected, poachers have stolen Pepik. He's at the back of their camp. Fortunately, the poachers are scattered, allowing you to engage them in smaller groups. Eliminating the poachers near the camp's edge is easier; many will surrender. Alternatively, you can bypass the tougher poachers inside the camp and escape with Pepik. Note: There's no opportunity to rest between finding Vostatek and Pepik, so your health may be depleted depending on the wolf encounter.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's camp. You can then choose to ride with him back to his home (a fast travel option), receiving Groschen and access to his home as a resting place.
Having successfully recovered Pepik, you can now progress with other quests, pursue romances, or purchase new equipment using your well-earned reward.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
