Applibot has launched Hello Kitty Merch Match, bringing Sanrio’s extensive roster of characters and their official merchandise to mobile devices. Developed and published by the same team, this title allows players to discover and collect more than 1,000 unique pieces of Hello Kitty and Friends memorabilia.
These items span from nostalgic vintage designs to brand-new releases!
Players dive into a large pile of goods and tap three identical merch pieces to clear them—classic match-3 mechanics in action. Clearing each stage rewards you with new collectibles, helping expand your personal digital archive.
Honestly, it’s the merchandise rather than the core gameplay that draws players to Hello Kitty Merch Match. The roster is incredibly diverse and vast, featuring nearly every character from the franchise. You’ll encounter fan favorites like Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Chococat, Pochacco, Kuromi, and My Melody.
The lineup also includes Gudetama, Tuxedosam, U・SA・HA・NA, Kerokerokeroppi, Hangyodon, the Little Twin Stars, Patty & Jimmy, Marroncream, Bad Badtz-Maru, and Minnanotābō. Additional appearances come from Dear Daniel, Wish Me Mell, My Sweet Piano, Ahirunopekkle, Cheery Chums, Goropikadon, and Noranekoland.
You’ll also find The Vaudeville Duo, Rururugakuen, Cogimyun, Corocorokuririn, Bonbonribbon, Kirimichan, Marumofubiyori, the Strawberry King, Nya・Ni・Nyu・Nye・Nyon, and Osarunomonkichi. Every collectible is a real Sanrio product that has been specially digitized for the game.
