Details about the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake have been shared by Konami’s development team. According to series producer Noriaki Okamura, the studio’s top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, high-quality experience that meets fan expectations.
In a 4Gamer interview, Okamura described the year’s focus: “We’re putting everything into completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by 2025.” He confirmed that the game is already fully playable from start to finish, with the team now dedicating time to polishing details and elevating the overall quality.
Previously, PlayStation had speculated a 2024 launch, but those plans were never realized. Studio representatives and insiders now confirm the release is set for next year. Keep in mind the remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The game aims to honor the original’s spirit while integrating modern gameplay and visuals. Beyond enhanced graphics, Okamura promised fans new features designed to deepen the experience.
Konami unveiled the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater trailer in late September. The over-two-minute video showcases several intense moments, including the protagonist, key antagonists, an airdrop sequence, and a full-blown shootout.
