Heroes United: Fight x3: A Surprisingly Unashamed Rip-Off RPG
Heroes United: Fight x3 is a standard 2D, hero-collecting RPG. However, a quick peek at its promotional materials reveals some…unexpected characters. With winter's chill setting in, new mobile game releases are becoming less frequent. While many opt for holiday shopping, occasional launches still occur, ranging from gems like Mask Around to…well, Heroes United: Fight x3.
On the surface, it's a fairly unremarkable game. The gameplay – collecting heroes and battling enemies – is familiar territory. But the game's marketing is where things get interesting.
The promotional materials prominently feature characters bearing a striking resemblance to Goku, Doraemon, and Tanjiro. Let's just say the licensing agreements for these characters are likely…questionable. It's a brazen display of copyright infringement, a refreshing change of pace in the mobile gaming landscape.
While undeniably amusing, it's difficult to review Fight x3 objectively without cracking a smile. The audacity of including these recognizable figures is remarkable. Yet, it's also strangely comforting to see such a blatant rip-off after a long absence.
This blatant disregard for intellectual property rights is especially frustrating when considering the numerous excellent mobile games currently available. So, let's shift our focus to some of those!
