The White Wolf returns for one final adventure as production for the last season of *The Witcher* kicks into high gear. Season 5 is currently in the works, and fans have been treated to a first look at Liam Hemsworth stepping into the iconic role of Geralt de Rivia. New set photos, which surfaced on the dedicated fan site Redanian Intelligence, showcase Hemsworth fully transformed into the character, complete with Geralt's signature long blonde hair. Alongside him, familiar faces such as Meng'er Zhang as Milva and Joey Batey as Jaskier are also spotted, continuing their journey from when Henry Cavill led the series. Hemsworth was announced as Cavill's replacement back in October 2022 for both Season 4 and this final installment.

The leaked images also introduce new characters set to appear in Season 4 and carry through to the final season, including the legendary Laurence Fishburne taking on the role of Emiel Regis. These set photos hint that Season 5 may draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski's *Tower of the Swallow*, featuring Geralt's encounters with beekeepers and druids. However, with Season 4 still pending release, the storyline could take any number of twists and turns, leaving fans eager to see how everything unfolds.
It's not just Cavill who's stepping away from the series; Kim Bodnia, who played Geralt's mentor Vesemir, will also not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has yet to announce Bodnia's replacement, and there's still no official release date for Season 4, keeping fans on the edge of their seats for more updates.
