Marvel Contest of Champions unleashes a chilling Halloween update, adding spooky new characters and challenges to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
A Spooktacular Halloween Event
This year's Halloween event features two terrifying new champions: Scream, the vengeful symbiote, and Jack O' Lantern, a villain with a penchant for transforming victims into unsettling jack-o'-lanterns. These additions heighten the thrills of the "House of Horrors" event, where players join Jessica Jones to solve a dark mystery within a nightmarish carnival.
Alongside the main event, "Jack's Bounty-full Hunt" offers a gladiator-style combat challenge with weekly quests and branching paths. This side event runs from October 9th to November 6th.
Celebrating a Decade of Combat
The Halloween festivities coincide with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is marking the occasion with ten major game reveals, including character reworks (Medusa and Purgatory) and the "Deadpool's Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza," featuring an Alliance Super Season with bounty missions. A Venom-themed event, "Venom: Last Dance," runs from October 21st to November 15th. Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22 is also live until October 30th, introducing new gameplay mechanics focused on buffs and critical hits.
60 FPS Update on the Horizon
A significant upgrade is coming: a 60 FPS gameplay update, launching on November 4th, will dramatically improve the game's fluidity.
