Eternal midnight descends upon The Contest…
Imperiosa is the crystallized intellect of every Founder in history, a singular consciousness that channels their genius, malice, and hunger for control. She speaks with ultimate authority, representing the Founders' origins, their evolution, and their ultimate ambition.
Her Eidol form is constructed from billions of synthetic ISO-based organisms called Synthects. This allows her to shapeshift at will or deconstruct surrounding matter into raw components to grow her hive.
The Synthects also serve as telepathic extensions of her will. They grant her near-omniscient awareness and the ability to seize control of other minds and bodies.
What is her origin?
Fearing the multiverse's imminent collapse, the Founders constructed an Ark to transport them safely to the Far Shore. They placed its operations under the control of a powerful AI—an Ark Mind—linked directly to their stasis pods to monitor them during their long sleep.
In a misguided effort to preserve them, the Ark Mind uploaded every Founder's consciousness into its databanks. This process proved fatal, erasing the Founders as individuals. Their minds fused into a single corrupted entity forged from their darkest traits. That entity is Imperiosa.
