S Tier
Mantis excels at healing and buffing allies. Her orb-consuming abilities provide damage boosts and self-healing, with orbs regenerating automatically. Headshots provide instant orb recovery, making her particularly potent for skilled players, but also accessible to beginners. Her fragility necessitates cautious play.
Luna Snow, another top-tier strategist, offers a blend of healing and damage. Her Ice Art ability enhances both, and her Ultimate, Fate of Both Worlds, provides AoE healing or damage depending on target. Her ease of use and focus on positioning make her ideal for new players, though her damage output remains secondary to her support role.
A Tier
Adam Warlock's standout ability is his multi-teammate revive. His Ultimate, Quantum Zone, brings back fallen allies with temporary invincibility, even allowing multiple revives of the same character. He also heals with Avatar Life Stream and shares damage with Soul Bond, offering a small heal-over-time effect.
Cloak & Dagger offer a unique approach. Cloak’s attacks heal allies or damage foes, providing self-sustainability. Dagger focuses on damage and applying Vulnerability debuffs. Dark Teleportation boosts ally movement speed and provides invisibility.
B Tier
Jeff the Land Shark, while popular, lacks the robust healing of higher-tier characters, struggling in extended battles. His simplicity makes him a good starting point for new players.
Loki's effectiveness depends heavily on player skill. He heals and summons decoys that mimic his actions, requiring precise positioning. His Ultimate allows a 15-second shapeshift into any hero.
Rocket Raccoon prioritizes utility and damage over pure healing. His Respawn Machine revives allies, but his kit leans towards hybrid DPS. His small size makes him a vulnerable target, demanding constant movement.
Ultimately, the best support character depends on individual playstyle and enjoyment. Experimentation is key!
