How Competitive Ranks Reset in Marvel Rivals

At the end of each Marvel Rivals Season, your Competitive rank drops seven tiers. For example, a Diamond I player will begin the next Season at Gold II. Players ending a Season at Bronze III will remain at Bronze III.

When Does the Rank Reset Happen?

The Competitive rank reset occurs at the end of each Season. Season 1, beginning January 10th (at the time of writing), will be the first reset.

All Ranks in Marvel Rivals

Competitive mode unlocks at player level 10. You earn points to climb through tiers; 100 points advances you to the next tier.

Here are all the Competitive ranks:

  • Bronze (III-I)
  • Silver (III-I)
  • Gold (III-I)
  • Platinum (III-I)
  • Diamond (III-I)
  • Grandmaster (III-I)
  • Eternity
  • One Above All (Top 500 Leaderboard)

Even after reaching Grandmaster I, you can continue earning points for Eternity and One Above All. One Above All requires a top 500 leaderboard placement.

How Long Do Seasons Last in Marvel Rivals?

While Season 0 was short, future Seasons are expected to last approximately three months. New Seasons will introduce new heroes (like the Fantastic Four) and maps, providing ample time to climb the ranks.
