Designed for *Marvel Rivals'* payload-style mode, this Convoy map challenges players to either escort or thwart a moving vehicle across the map. It's the third Convoy map in *Rivals*, joining Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path and Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands.
Set in a New York City under Dracula’s ominous Blood Moon, Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown is steeped in mystery and action. Key Points of Interest on this map include iconic *Marvel* locations as well as real-world landmarks in Midtown Manhattan:

Empire of Eternal Night: The Mystical Sanctum Santorum
The Empire of Eternal Night version of Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Santorum was added to *Marvel Rivals* in Season 1, uniquely hosting the Doom Match mode. This mode is a free-for-all deathmatch where players compete to survive and eliminate opponents, with the top half of the leaderboard earning wins and the overall best player receiving MVP honors.
The Sanctum Santorum map is a detailed rendition of Doctor Strange’s mystical mansion, which serves as his home and headquarters. First introduced in a 1963 comic, it has since become iconic in the *MCU*. In *Marvel Rivals*, it stands as a bastion of Earth's supernatural defense in New York City, filled with hidden secrets, Easter eggs, supernatural rooms, impossible ceilings, portals, and an infinite staircase. Players can even interact with Bats The Ghost Dog on the map.
Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park
Scheduled to launch in the latter half of *Marvel Rivals* Season 1, the Central Park map remains somewhat mysterious. In the real world, Central Park is a famous landmark in Manhattan, featured in various *Marvel* media, most recently in the 2023 *Marvel’s Spider-Man 2* video game.
The *Marvel Rivals* version of Central Park will focus on a stylized depiction of Belvedere Castle, located at one of the park's highest points. This Gothic architectural gem is expected to serve as a thematic anchor for the Empire of Eternal Night setting, potentially acting as a hideout for Dracula within New York City.
These are all the new maps introduced in *Marvel Rivals* Season 1, each adding unique gameplay and thematic elements to the game.
