Marvel Rivals Season 1: Hero Performance Data Unveiled Before Fantastic Four Arrival
NetEase has released performance statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular heroes during the game's first month. The data reveals player preferences and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes on both PC and console. This data comes just before the highly anticipated Season 1 launch, which will introduce the Fantastic Four.
Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme as the most picked hero in Quickplay across all platforms. However, Mantis surprisingly boasts the highest overall win rate, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay and Competitive modes. Other top performers include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.
The "Hero Hot List" details the most popular characters in each category:
Most Picked Heroes:
- Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
- Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
- Competitive (PC): Luna Snow
Despite Jeff's popularity, Mantis's high win rate demonstrates a skill-based advantage. This suggests that while some characters are favored for their playstyle, others offer a greater chance of victory.
At the other end of the spectrum, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with a very low pick rate (1.66% in Quickplay, 0.69% in Competitive), reflecting player dissatisfaction with her performance. However, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in Season 1, potentially altering her position in the meta.
The upcoming Season 1, launching January 10th, will introduce Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman immediately, followed by The Human Torch and The Thing later in the season. These additions, along with the balance changes, are expected to significantly impact the hero meta and player statistics.
