Marvel Rivals Unveils Trailers for Human Torch, Thing, and New Map

It's an exciting week for fans of hero shooters, with major updates across the board. Overwatch 2 has kicked off its Season 15, Marvel Rivals is gearing up for the second half of Season 1, and Team Fortress 2 has been added to the Source SDK. But let's focus on the newest addition to the scene.

The developers of Marvel Rivals have just released gameplay videos that introduce the Human Torch and the Thing, completing the Fantastic Four lineup in this thrilling superhero shooter. These characters are set to join the game this Friday, February 21.

Johnny Storm, known as the Human Torch, falls into the Duelist class. He brings a dynamic set of abilities to the battlefield, including the power to fly freely, shoot streams of fire, encase opponents in a blazing barrier, and unleash devastating fire tornadoes that can rip through anything in their path.

On the other hand, Benjamin J. Grimm, aka the Thing, is a member of the Defender class. His strength allows him to throw teammates short distances for strategic positioning and to launch enemies into the air with a mighty ground slam, disrupting their plans and turning the tide of battle.

In addition to these new heroes, the Marvel Rivals team has teased a new map, Central Park, giving players a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming update.

Mark your calendars: the big update for Marvel Rivals is coming this Friday, bringing fresh gameplay elements and new strategic opportunities to the hero shooter genre.
