The latest season of Marvel Snap is all about legacy, and it brings a wave of excitement with the introduction of Sam Wilson as the new Captain America. Alongside Sam, characters like Diamondback and Thaddeus Ross join the fray, adding fresh layers of strategy to the game. This month promises a dynamic shift in gameplay dynamics, ensuring players have plenty to explore and enjoy.
Sam Wilson's transition from Falcon to Captain America is highlighted in the new Season Pass. His card introduces Cap’s Shield at the start of each match, which appears at a random location. You can strategically move the Shield across the board; while it can’t be destroyed, it enhances Sam’s power by +2 whenever it lands in his location, adding a unique tactical element to your matches.
Throughout February, Marvel Snap expands its roster with new characters. Joaquín Torres joins the game on February 4th, followed by Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross on February 11th. Redwing arrives on the 18th, and Diamondback closes out the month on February 25th. These Series 5 cards will be available in the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache, offering multiple avenues for players to unlock them.
Two new locations enhance the strategic landscape of Marvel Snap. The Smithsonian Museum location rewards Ongoing abilities with an additional +1 Power per card, while Madripoor boosts the highest-cost cards at its location by +2 Power after each turn. These additions encourage players to experiment with different deck builds to maximize their strategic advantage this season.
For those passionate about collecting, February introduces new albums filled with avatars, emotes, and variants. The Viktor Farro album, available from February 4th, includes a Darkhawk variant and collector's tokens. On February 25th, the Lemon Fashion album arrives, featuring exclusive Elsa Bloodstone content. These albums provide exciting rewards for dedicated collectors.
