Mastering Sprays and Emotes in Marvel Rivals: A Guide

Author : Zoe May 04,2025

*Marvel Rivals* isn't just about strategic battles and taking down the enemy team; it's also a platform to showcase your style with sprays and emotes. If you're eager to learn how to express yourself in-game, here's a comprehensive guide on using sprays and emotes in *Marvel Rivals*.

Using Sprays and Emotes in Marvel Rivals

To unleash your favorite spray or emote during a match, simply hold down the T key to access the cosmetics wheel. From there, you can choose the spray or emote that suits the moment. If T isn't your preferred key, you can easily customize this in the game settings to fit your playstyle.

Marvel Rivals Gameplay

Remember, to make the most out of your cosmetic collection, you'll need to equip sprays and emotes for each character individually. There's no universal setting for all heroes and villains. To do this, head over to the hero gallery from the main menu, select your character, navigate to the Cosmetics tab, and then choose from Costumes, MVP, Emotes, or Sprays to equip your favorites.

How to Unlock More Sprays in Marvel Rivals

While many of the cosmetics in *Marvel Rivals* are available through the Luxury track of the Battle Pass, which requires real money, there's good news for those on the free track. By engaging in the game and completing daily and event missions, you'll earn Chrono Tokens. These tokens are your key to unlocking additional cosmetics through the Battle Pass. Furthermore, enhancing your proficiency with individual characters can also unlock unique cosmetic items, adding more flair to your gameplay.

That's all you need to know about using and unlocking sprays and emotes in *Marvel Rivals*. For more insights and tips on the game, including details on how the rank reset works in Competitive mode and the meaning of SVP, keep an eye on The Escapist.
