The Fortnite x MonsterVerse collaboration, launching January 17th, has been partially revealed by dataminers. While a standard Godzilla skin will be part of the battle pass, the item shop will feature a bundle including Mechagodzilla and Kong skins. This bundle will also contain unique jetpacks and pickaxes designed for both characters.
A new boss event will coincide with the release. One player will transform into a giant Godzilla, wielding atomic breath, and other players will need to team up to defeat it. The player inflicting the most damage will earn a special medallion with a unique ability.
The Mechagodzilla and Kong bundle pricing in the Fortnite item shop will be:
- Kong: 1500 V-bucks
- Mechagodzilla: 1800 V-bucks
- Two pickaxes: 800 V-bucks each
- One emote: 400 V-bucks
- Two wraps: 500 V-bucks each
- Complete Bundle: 2800 V-bucks
Separately, hints on social media suggest a potential collaboration with Hatsune Miku is in the works. The interaction between Hatsune Miku's official account and the Fortnite Festival account regarding a missing backpack strongly suggests a future appearance. This collaboration may include a Miku skin (potentially a "Catgirl" variant), a stylized pickaxe, and possibly a virtual concert.
