Metaphor: ReFantazio Party Member Recruitment Guide: A Detailed Timeline
Beyond the protagonist, seven companions will join your adventuring party in Metaphor: ReFantazio, each contributing unique combat capabilities. While Gallica is present from the outset, her combat participation is initially limited.
Spoiler Warning: This guide reveals the recruitment dates for each party member. Reading further may spoil aspects of the game's narrative.
Each party member's Archetype unlocks independently. Once unlocked, any party member can utilize it. Note that some early recruits are initially AI-controlled until their Archetype awakens.
Party Member Recruitment Schedule:

Strohl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th during the Border Fort events, but his Archetype awakens the following day, June 6th, in the Nord Mines. Until then, he's AI-controlled.

Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events but becomes a fully controllable party member on June 6th, after Strohl's Archetype awakens. Grius doesn't undergo a traditional Archetype awakening.

Hulkenberg (Knight): Interacts with the party from June 10th, fully joining and awakening her Archetype during the boss fight on June 11th.

Heismay (Thief): His awakening and party integration occur on July 4th within Martira's main dungeon during a mostly linear story segment.

Junah (Masked Dancer): Junah joins the party upon her Archetype awakening on August 13th.

Eupha (Summoner): Eupha's recruitment is flexible. Completing the Dragon Temple Dungeon anytime between August 19th and September 4th (during Viraga Island's free time) will trigger her joining for the final boss fight. Her Bond quest, however, begins after this period concludes.

Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins the party on September 11th during the Saint's Day events. Combat usage is available from the following day onward, if desired.
