The vast and interconnected world of Monster Hunter Wilds is truly something to behold. One dedicated player recently showcased this interconnectedness with an epic journey, traversing the game's zones from beginning to end in a single, breathtaking run.
On the Monster Hunter subreddit, user -BrotherPig- shared a video (see below) documenting their incredible trek. Beginning in the Windward Plains, they navigated dunes and diverse landscapes, ultimately reaching the game's final areas. (Spoiler alert: if you haven't completed the campaign, you might want to hold off on watching!)
Did you know there's only 1 loading screen between the Plains and Suja? 9min ride through all zones.

This remarkably long journey highlights the seamless connection between Monster Hunter Wilds' zones. Only one loading screen interrupted the entire trip, occurring midway as the player transitioned from the Oilwell Basin to the Iceshard Cliffs. Otherwise, it was a continuous, impressive run for this presumably very tired Seikret.
While Monster Hunter Wilds isn't entirely devoid of loading screens (there's one for the training grounds, and others for fast travel and joining friends' quests), the video powerfully demonstrates the game's impressive connectivity. It offers a fresh perspective on the intricate corridors and passages linking the Forbidden Lands.

According to a series producer, the secret to Monster Hunter Wilds' success lies in its compelling story, immersive world, and cross-play functionality. Personally, I've been captivated by the player discoveries showcasing how Wilds innovatively adapts the series' mechanics within its open-world environment. Regardless of your reason for playing, there's plenty to keep you occupied until the first Title Update arrives in April.

IGN's review of Monster Hunter Wilds awarded it an 8/10, stating: “Monster Hunter Wilds continues to smooth off the rougher corners of the series in smart ways, making for some extremely fun fights but also lacking any real challenge.”
