Moonlighter 2: Endless Vault Trailer Debuts at ID@Xbox

At the ID@Xbox Showcase event, the creative minds behind Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault unveiled an exciting new trailer, giving fans a sneak peek into the much-awaited sequel. In thrilling news for gamers, it was announced that Moonlighter 2 will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, with a launch expected before the year's end.

Digital Sun, in collaboration with publisher 11 bit studios, has developed an isometric action-adventure RPG with roguelike elements. In this engaging sequel, players embark on a journey to transform their modest shop into a thriving business. This is achieved by delving into perilous dungeons, battling fearsome creatures, and collecting rare artifacts that can be sold for profit.

Digital Sun emphasized that Moonlighter 2 builds upon the beloved original, offering richer storytelling and improved gameplay mechanics. The narrative centers on Will, the protagonist, as he searches for his native dimension within the expansive world of Trense. Along his journey, Will reconnects with old friends and forges new alliances. His path leads him to a mysterious trader who enlists him in a quest to find powerful relics, which are said to hold the key to returning home.

The game's enchanting soundtrack is composed by the renowned Chris Larkin, celebrated for his work on Hollow Knight. Fans can look forward to Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault launching later this year on PC via Steam, Xbox Series, and PS5.
