The ESRB listing confirms dual playable characters:

Zelda's Own Game Will Also Let You Play as Link

Zelda's gameplay involves dispelling rifts across Hyrule and rescuing Link, utilizing a magic wand to summon creatures like wind-up knights and slime for combat. Link, on the other hand, employs his classic sword and arrows. Enemy defeat methods vary, with some burning and others dissolving into mist.

While the game's focus is clearly on Zelda's journey, the extent of Link's playable sections remains undisclosed. This innovative approach has generated significant excitement, making Echoes of Wisdom a highly anticipated title. The game is rated E 10+ and features no microtransactions.

Hyrule Edition Switch Lite: A Golden Celebration

To coincide with the game's release, Nintendo is offering a special Hyrule Edition Switch Lite, available for pre-order. This golden console, adorned with the Hyrule crest and Triforce symbol, includes a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription for $49.99. Note that the game itself is not included with the console.
