Join Orna's Terra's Legacy: A Real-World Environmental RPG Event!
Northern Forge Studios' Orna, the fantasy RPG and GPS MMO, is launching Terra's Legacy, a unique in-game event tackling real-world environmental pollution. From September 9th to 19th, players will combat pollution-themed enemies and contribute to cleaning up polluted locations in the real world.
Combating Pollution, In-Game and Out:
Terra's Legacy merges virtual gameplay with real-world environmental action. While exploring in Orna, players will identify and report real-life polluted areas or locations littered with garbage. Northern Forge will then transform these reported areas into in-game "Gloomsites."
These Gloomsites serve as virtual representations of environmental damage. Players will battle the Murk, pollution-themed enemies, and by defeating them, actively raise awareness about real-world pollution. Following victories, players can plant virtual trees and grow Gaia apples in these Gloomsites, using the apples to enhance their characters. Other players can also harvest these apples, encouraging collaboration and rewarding collective effort.
