Get ready, Overwatch 2 fans! The game is teaming up once again with the sensational K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM. This exciting collaboration is set to kick off on March 18, 2025, perfectly timed with the release of LE SSERAFIM's new album "Hot." You can expect a fresh wave of skins, emotes, and in-game challenges to enhance your gaming experience. This follows their memorable collaboration back in November 2023, which celebrated LE SSERAFIM's track "Perfect Night." Overwatch 2 teased the event with a trailer on Twitter (X) on March 11, and it was officially announced during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12.
This time around, new skins for Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari will be introduced. Fans can also grab recolored skins from the 2023 collab, featuring LE SSERAFIM versions of Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte. Unfortunately, the Concert Clash mode from the previous event won't make a return, as it was specifically designed around LE SSERAFIM's "Perfect Night" video. However, players can still earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by tackling event-specific challenges.
Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights with Polygon on March 11 about the upcoming event. She stated, "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album." She further explained that while there isn't a new song dedicated to Overwatch, the team focused on celebrating K-pop culture by creating a visualizer for one of the new songs from the album and introducing a wide array of cosmetics for the collaboration.
