Breaches are the most effective method for farming the Greater Jeweller's Orb due to the high number of monsters you can kill in a short time. While a build with excellent wave-clear can enhance efficiency, it's not strictly necessary. The rarity of the Waystones you use significantly impacts potential drops, and using Precursor Tablets on nearby Towers can boost both the drop rate and quantity of items. How Does Local Knowledge Work
Local Knowledge is an early node in the Atlas tree of Path of Exile 2 that shifts the weighting of drops to favor Socket Currency (+40%) in Grass biomes. This includes 
Lesser Jeweller's Orb, Greater Jeweller's Orb, and 
Perfect Jeweller's Orb. However, it also increases the drop rate of less desirable items in other biomes, such as Baryas and Ultimatums in Desert biomes and Gold in Mountain biomes. How to Trade For Greater Jeweller's Orb in PoE 2
Trading is a more reliable method to acquire a Greater Jeweller's Orb. You can use Path of Exile 2's in-game currency exchange or the trading website. The currency exchange is safer and more convenient, providing a clear market value, while the trading website might offer cheaper options but requires more effort to find a good deal.
To use the Currency Exchange, speak to Alva after reaching Act 3 Cruel and select the relevant options. In the 'I Want' section, enter Greater Jeweller's Orb, and in the 'I Have' section, specify Exalted Orb/Divine Orb. This will display the current exchange rate. Place an order at the market rate or slightly above to secure the item quickly. Lower offers may take longer to be accepted.
