Get ready for a festive flurry of Pokémon in Pokémon Sleep! This winter holiday, the sleep-tracking game is hosting a special event featuring two adorable new additions: Eevee in a Santa hat, and the delightful Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix. Prepare for a cozy, Pokémon-filled slumber party!
When Do Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix Arrive in Pokémon Sleep?
Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix debut during the December 2024 Holiday Dream Shard Research event, starting the week of December 23rd. This event brings bonus rewards and increased chances of encountering these charming Pokémon. And get this – shiny versions will be available from the start!
Catching Pawmi in Pokémon Sleep

Pawmi appears from 3 PM on December 23rd on Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, and Old Gold Power Plant. Your chances are boosted during the event! Pawmi, Pawmo, and Pawmot are all Snoozing type Pokémon. While you can evolve them using Candies, you'll only study their sleep styles through wild encounters. A Snoozing sleep type (a light sleep, common for most people) increases your chances of finding them. Balanced sleep types might also work, but with lower odds.
Catching Alolan Vulpix in Pokémon Sleep

Alolan Vulpix, also arriving at 3 PM on December 23rd, is a bit more elusive, appearing only on Snowdrop Tundra. Alolan Vulpix and Alolan Ninetails are Slumbering type Pokémon, requiring a deep, 8-hour sleep for optimal encounter chances. Balanced sleep types offer a smaller chance.
Best Island for the Holiday Event: Snowdrop Tundra

To maximize your chances of catching both Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix, head to Snowdrop Tundra! However, be warned – this island has higher team requirements, so prepare your team beforehand.
Pokémon GO is available on iOS and Android.
