Unlock the New "Photograph" Emote in Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.18!
A delightful addition to Final Fantasy XIV's social features is the new "Photograph" emote, a free gift from the Fujifilm Instax collaboration in patch 7.18. This charming emote lets you capture in-game Polaroids in Eorzea.
Unlike many emotes requiring quests or purchase, the "Photograph" emote is readily available. Simply update to patch 7.18, and it'll be in your emote menu. No level or expansion is needed!
Using the "Photograph" Emote:
Access your Emote menu (Social tab), find "Photograph" under the "General" tab, and click! Your character will snap a picture. Add it to your Favorites for easy access.
This dynamic emote works in various locations: underwater (like the Ruby Sea), while mounted (grounded or flying), and more, offering creative photo opportunities. It's a fun, non-continuous emote perfect for capturing memorable moments.
Patch 7.18 precedes the major Patch 7.2 (late March), bringing new dungeons, the Arcadion's return, Cosmic Exploration, and much more.
