Partner/Indie World Showcase Delivers a Bounty of Games
Nintendo's decision to combine two smaller showcases proved clever, resulting in a flood of announcements. While a full rundown is impossible here, highlights include several surprise releases (detailed below), Capcom Fighting Collection 2, the Suikoden I & II remasters, Yakuza Kiwami, Tetris Forever, MySims, Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition, new Atelier and Rune Factory titles, and much more. I recommend watching the full video; it's worth your time.

Castlevania Dominus Collection ($24.99)
A fantastic surprise from the Direct! This third Castlevania collection features the three Nintendo DS titles: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. It also includes the infamous arcade game, Haunted Castle, along with an M2-developed remake that's significantly improved. The emulation is superb, boasting all the features you'd expect. An incredible value for the price.
Pizza Tower ($19.99)
This Wario Land-inspired platformer makes its Switch debut as another Direct surprise. Conquer five massive floors of the Pizza Tower to save your restaurant. Fans of Wario's handheld adventures will adore this, but even those without strong Wario feelings should consider it if they enjoy platformers. We're hoping to review it soon.
Goat Simulator 3 ($29.99)
Yet another Wednesday surprise! Goat Simulator 3 brings the chaotic goat antics to Switch. While performance on less powerful hardware might be an issue, the game's inherently chaotic nature might actually enhance the experience. It's silly goats doing silly things in an open world – your mileage may vary!
Peglin ($19.99)
I can't help but wonder if EA missed a huge opportunity by not bringing PopCap's games to Switch. For Peggle fans, Peglin is a must-have. This mobile hit is just as enjoyable on Switch, blending Peggle mechanics with turn-based RPG roguelite elements. A review is coming soon.
Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story ($20.00)
Kairosoft adds a popular license to their tried-and-true shop simulation formula. Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story features characters from the beloved Doraemon series, with even some appearances from the manga artist's other works. A charming and enjoyable addition to the genre.
Pico Park 2 ($8.99)
More Pico Park for existing fans! Up to eight players can enjoy local or online multiplayer in this cooperative puzzle game. While not drastically different from the first, it's a solid sequel for those who enjoyed the original.
Kamitsubaki City Ensemble ($3.99)
An affordable rhythm game featuring music from Kamitsubaki Studio. Simple, enjoyable, and priced to move.
SokoPenguin ($4.99)
A classic Sokoban-style puzzle game with a penguin twist. One hundred levels of crate-pushing fun.
Q2 Humanity ($6.80)
Over three hundred quirky physics-based puzzles. Utilize your character's abilities and drawing mechanics to solve problems. Up to four players can join in locally or online.
