Humanity survives, albeit barely. After Inc. puts you in charge of rebuilding civilization from the ground up. The world has recovered, with lush vegetation flourishing in the absence of humanity. However, danger still lurks, primarily in the ruins of abandoned cities. While zombies aren't the primary threat, they haven't completely disappeared.
The game unfolds in a stunningly rendered post-apocalyptic UK. You'll utilize salvaged resources to construct farms, lumber mills, and housing. Take a look:

After Inc. combines survival strategy and city management elements, with hints of a 4X game. You'll scavenge, expand your settlements, and face difficult moral choices – the value of children in a resource-scarce environment, for example, or whether a dog is a friend or food.
