Indie developer Theo Clarke's new game, Plantoons, transforms your backyard into a vibrant, plant-versus-weed battle arena. Think Plants vs. Zombies, but with a unique twist and strategic depth.
The Plantoons Gameplay:
Your garden becomes a gladiator arena where plants fight off waves of encroaching weeds. It's not just about placement; you'll level up and upgrade your plant warriors to withstand increasingly fierce weed attacks. The game starts with selecting a plant from your arsenal and deploying it strategically. The goal? Repel the relentless weed invasion (hopefully less terrifying than zombies!).
As you progress, you'll collect reward cards offering various boosts for your plant army. Enhance attacks, fortify defenses, or increase pollen production to optimize your strategy. Plant placement is key to building an effective defensive line.
Each plant boasts unique abilities and stats. Complete challenges to expand your deck in the Card Bank, allowing for customized and enhanced setups.
