The acclaimed action RPG, Children of Morta, has arrived on mobile devices. This 2019 release, developed by Dead Mage and published by Playdigious for mobile, blends hack-and-slash gameplay with a compelling roguelite structure and narrative reminiscent of The Banner Saga.
A Family's Epic Struggle
At the heart of Children of Morta lies the Bergson family, protectors of Rea for generations. Faced with an ancient, encroaching evil known as the Corruption, they must unite to defend their home. The game features seven playable Bergson family members, each with unique upgradeable skills and equipment. Each playthrough offers a different experience thanks to procedurally generated dungeons. Strategically switching between family members is key to overcoming challenges.
Beyond the action-packed battles lies a deeply emotional story exploring themes of love, loss, sacrifice, and hope. The Bergsons' unwavering commitment to protecting one another forms the emotional core of the experience.
