The Pocket Gamer Awards 2024 winners are finally here, following two months of nominations and voting! While some winners were anticipated, several unexpected titles triumphed in the public vote. This year marks a record-breaking high point for mobile gaming, a fact clearly reflected in the public's choices.
The awards journey, spanning a month of nominations and a month of voting, culminated in a spectacular ceremony. The impressive list of winners showcases the incredible growth of the mobile gaming industry since the inaugural Pocket Gamer Awards in 2010.
Witnessing the entire process from the October nominations was a privilege. The success wasn't just about the sheer volume of votes (which was substantial), but also the feeling that, for the first time, the winners truly represent the breadth and depth of the mobile gaming industry.
The winning games represent a diverse range of developers and publishers: from global giants like NetEase (with their Sony IP: Destiny), Tencent-backed SuperCell, and Scopely, to established game publishers such as Konami and Bandai Namco, and finally, beloved indie developers including Rusty Lake and Emoak. This year also saw a remarkable surge in successful ports, with several excellent titles making the transition from other platforms to mobile, earning well-deserved recognition.
Without further ado, here are the winners:
