Pokémon TCG: Pocket Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Launches with Rewarding Prizes

Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Part Two Launches with New Cosmetic Rewards

Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues with a second phase, introducing a fresh batch of cosmetic items to the in-game shop. This update includes a new Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue and Blastoise playmat.

The event shop, stocked with these new goodies alongside the usual Shinedust exchange, remains open until January 28th. However, players eager to acquire all the event items should act quickly, as event tickets cease distribution on January 22nd.

Following a busy holiday season of generous login bonuses, the game's event schedule has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and anticipate the next expansion, rumored for a late January release. The confirmed reusability of Pack Hourglasses in future expansions has prompted many to stockpile them.

This Blastoise-themed update provides a renewed incentive for daily logins. Players can exchange surplus event tickets for up to 1,000 Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket).

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: A Recap

The event, which began on January 6th, initially offered two promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander, boasting unique artwork despite identical attacks to their standard counterparts. These, along with a Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover, remain available.

New missions, rewarding players with Event Shop Tickets, were also introduced. These missions involve participating in Wonder Picks and collecting Fire and Water-type cards. Importantly, missions from both event parts are cumulative, allowing players to catch up. Bonus Picks also offer Event Shop Tickets, facilitating the acquisition of all shop items. Daily logins are strongly advised for those aiming to complete their collection, as these promo cards are reportedly untradeable.
