Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced!
Get ready, Pokémon GO Trainers! Two exciting events are on the horizon: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.
Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)
This in-person event, inspired by the Unova region games, will take place in Los Angeles' Rose Bowl Stadium and New Taipei City's Metropolitan Park.
Trainers will explore themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade), encounter Unova Pokémon, and hunt for shiny variants of Deerling, Meloetta (via Masterwork Research), Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and Pikachu with special hats (via Field Research). Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom will be Five-Star Raid bosses, with Druddigon in Three-Star Raids and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott in One-Star Raids (increased shiny rates for all).
Tickets are on sale now at a discounted price ($25 USD in Los Angeles, $630 NT in New Taipei). Add-on ticket options offer extra bonuses like raid XP. The event runs 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8 respectively), with merchandise booths and team lounges available. A global event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will also take place March 1-2 for free.
Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)
Get ready for a citywide adventure in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil! This event runs 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.
Join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery! Ticket holders receive a special explorer hat-wearing Eevee. Evolving it retains the hat, and the Eevee Explorers Expedition earns a second hatted Eevee. Special Pokémon like Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, Oricorio (Pom-Pom and Sensu styles), Swablu, and Skiddo will appear, with location-specific encounters. Maps and Pikachu/Eevee visors (while supplies last) will aid exploration.
Tickets cost R$45 in São Paulo and $10 USD in Hong Kong, with add-ons available for extra items and increased shiny chances. Don't miss out!
