Pokémon Go's Might and Mastery season is approaching its grand finale, and Niantic is highlighting the power of collaboration. From Tuesday, May 20th to Thursday, May 22nd, the Strength in Numbers Global Challenge encourages you to send Gifts to your friends—and plenty of them.
During the event, you can open up to 50 Gifts each day. This means more opportunities to collect Stardust, valuable items, and friendship boosts, while also helping the global community unlock an exciting reward: giftable Special Research tickets for the upcoming Community Day Classic featuring Machop.
If the challenge is successfully completed, starting May 23rd you'll be able to send Machop Special Research tickets to any Great Friend. You don’t need to purchase a ticket for yourself to send one—simply visit the in-game shop and share the Fighting-type excitement. Each trainer can gift up to 20 tickets daily, so get ready to spread the generosity.
This leads right into the Machop Community Day Classic on May 24th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time. The Superpower Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, and Shiny Machop returns—ideal for veterans and newcomers alike looking to strengthen their green-hued Machamp roster.
