Maximize your Pokémon Go Tour: Unova – Global experience with Black and White Kyurem's new Adventure Effects!
Black Kyurem's Freeze Shock and White Kyurem's Ice Burn offer significant advantages. Freeze Shock immobilizes wild Pokémon for easier catching, while Ice Burn slows the catch ring for easier Excellent Throws. Both effects last 10 minutes, extendable in 10-minute increments up to a maximum of two hours at a time, and a total of 24 hours.
Utilize the Tour Pass to amplify your rewards and Adventure Effect duration. Earn Tour Points by catching Pokémon, completing raids, and hatching Eggs. Reaching Major Milestones boosts Catch XP and extends the Freeze Shock or Ice Burn duration. Consider upgrading to the Tour Pass Deluxe for extra benefits including an immediate Victini encounter, additional event encounters, an avatar item, and the Lucky Trinket – a single-use item guaranteeing a Lucky Friend status for your next trade.
Remember, you'll encounter Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in five-star raids to obtain Fusion Energy. Fusing Zekrom or Reshiram with a Kyurem knowing Glaciate will result in Glaciate being replaced by Freeze Shock or Ice Burn (depending on which Kyurem you fused with). This change is temporary; the move reverts to Glaciate upon separation. These moves cannot be learned via Charged TMs or Elite Charged TMs. You'll also select an event badge: Black Version (Reshiram) or White Version (Zekrom), each offering unique Special Research rewards.
