Brand-New Pokémon Adventures In Aardman’s Style
Pokémon and Aardman Animation announced their collaboration for an exciting special project coming in 2027. The news was posted on both companies’ official X (Twitter), as well as a press release from The Pokémon company themselves on their website.
It is currently unknown as to what exactly this project entails, but given that Aardman is known for its unique style of productions in feature films and series, it may be a movie or a TV series of some sort. The press release read, "The collaboration will see Aardman bringing their unique style of storytelling to the Pokémon universe in brand-new adventures."
The Pokémon Company International VP of Marketing and Media, Taito Okiura, gave enthusiastic comments on the partnership. "This is a dream partnership for Pokémon. Aardman are masters of their craft, and we have been blown away by their talent and creativity. What we have been working on together ensures our global Pokémon fans are in for a treat!" Sean Clarke, Aardman’s Managing Director, shared the same sentiments. "It’s a huge honor to be working with The Pokémon Company International — we feel sincerely privileged to be trusted with bringing their characters and world to life in a brand-new way. Bringing together Pokémon, the world’s biggest entertainment brand, together with our love of craft, character and comedic storytelling feels incredibly exciting."
More information of the collaboration is still kept under wraps and will be revealed on later dates as 2027 inches closer.
