Star Wars Celebration has unveiled Rory McCann's transformation into Baylan Skoll for Ahsoka Season 2. McCann assumes the role following the passing of original actor Ray Stevenson.
While footage remains unseen, the Ahsoka panel showcased an exclusive first-look image revealing McCann's portrayal (shown above).
Stevenson, celebrated for his roles in Thor, RRR, Punisher: War Zone, and Rome, succumbed to illness shortly before Ahsoka's premiere. Many fans considered his Baylan Skoll performance among the show's strongest elements.
A Bittersweet Transition
Series creator Dave Filoni acknowledged Stevenson's passing presented significant challenges during Season 2 development, describing him as "the most beautiful person on screen and off."
The panel also revealed key Season 2 details including Hayden Christensen's return as Anakin Skywalker alongside fan-favorites Admiral Ackbar, Zeb, Chopper, and others.
