RuneScape Unveils Exciting 2024-2025 Roadmap!
Jagex has just revealed a thrilling roadmap for RuneScape, outlining a packed schedule of content for 2024 and 2025. The latest "RuneScape Ahead" video details the upcoming additions, so let's explore what's in store!
Major Updates:
First up is the highly anticipated Group Ironman mode, launching later this year. Team up with up to four friends for a collaborative experience without external assistance – a true test of teamwork!
Autumn brings "The Gate of Elidinis," a challenging new skilling boss encounter within the Sanctum of Rebirth. This forms part of a larger story quest centered around the enigmatic goddess Elidinis.
Multiple story quests are planned, including a winter release revisiting classic storylines and a desert-based finale culminating in a showdown against the formidable end-game boss, Amascut, the Devourer.
Skilling fans rejoice! Over 110 skilling updates are on the way, starting with Woodcutting & Fletching updates (new skill tree and weapons) this year, followed by RuneCrafting and Crafting updates in 2025.
Seasonal events return with "Harvest Hollow" later this year, featuring a new quest, spooky rewards, and chilling activities. The festive "Christmas Village" event also makes a comeback towards the end of the year.
Looking Ahead to 2025:
Beyond 2024, a large area expansion is slated for late 2025, alongside many player-requested features. This includes new combat achievements, a fourth Necromancy conjure ability, and a brand-new Slayer monster.
