The cooperative horror game *R.E.P.O.* offers a thrilling, physics-based retrieval experience for up to six players. As you navigate through various maps with your team to locate and extract valuables, it's crucial to know how to save your game to preserve your progress. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to save your game in *R.E.P.O.*

How To Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.

One of the most disheartening moments for any gamer is loading up a game only to find that your recent progress hasn’t been saved. This issue can be particularly frustrating with new games, where autosave features might not be as straightforward, and manual save options might be absent or have specific requirements. In *R.E.P.O.*, missing out on the saving process can mean starting all over again, which is why understanding the saving mechanics is essential.

In *R.E.P.O.*, the key to saving your game lies in completing the level you're on. The game autosaves only when you successfully finish a level. There is no option for manual saving, so if you quit during a retrieval mission or die (which sends you to the Disposal Arena), your progress will be lost. If you die, your save file is deleted, and exiting mid-level means you'll have to restart from the beginning of that level.

To save your game, you need to complete a level by delivering your valuables to the Extraction Point. After reaching the Extraction Point, enter the truck and hold the message button above your head to signal the Taxman, your AI boss, that you're ready to proceed to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can handle any necessary shopping before using the same button to move on to the next level.

After leaving the Service Station and arriving at your next location, it's safe to exit to the main menu or quit the game. When you or the host (if another player created the original save file) next opens the game, you can resume *R.E.P.O.* from where you left off. It's important to note that the host is responsible for exiting at the appropriate time to ensure the game saves correctly. Once the host quits, all other players will be logged out.

Now that you're equipped with the knowledge of how to save your game in *R.E.P.O.*, explore our other guides to enhance your gameplay and ensure success on your next mission.
