The Cozy Companions event marks the debut of Snom and its evolved form Frosmoth, while the subsequent Munchlax Hatch Day focuses on Gen IV's beloved sleepyhead.
Running from August 6-12, Cozy Companions introduces frost-themed Pokémon to the game. Players can encounter Snom for the first time, with its evolution to Frosmoth requiring 400 Candy, 10 Buddy Hearts, and nighttime evolution conditions. Shiny Tandemaus also makes its inaugural appearance during this event.
The event features multiple encounter methods including Field Research, wild spawns, and 7km Eggs. Notable Pokémon appearing include Charcadet, Alolan Geodude, and Galarian Farfetch'd. Friendship bonuses accelerate progress through various social interactions.
Participants can complete free Timed Research focused on Snom and Tandemaus, or opt for the premium $1.99 version offering a Lucky Egg, Star Piece, and additional encounters.
