A fleeting glimpse at the awe-inspiring figure of Elden Ring's renowned player, Let Me Solo Her, can humble even the most seasoned Tarnished. Yet, even he found himself challenged by one of FromSoftware's most formidable adversaries, Bloodborne's Orphan of Kos.
Let Me Solo Her first gained fame within the Elden Ring community in April 2022, donning a loincloth and a jar as a head, becoming a savior for numerous players struggling against the game’s notorious optional boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
By his own account, he has since logged over 1,200 hours and battled Malenia thousands of times, cementing his status as a legend in the Elden Ring community. His dedication was acknowledged by FromSoftware, who honored him with an actual sword.
In a recent video, Let Me Solo Her shared his experience after acquiring a PS5 to participate in the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest, finally allowing him to dive into the beloved Bloodborne. Despite being a FromSoft veteran, he encountered difficulties with some of Bloodborne's most notorious boss encounters.
Adjusting to Bloodborne's 30 fps from Elden Ring's smoother 60 fps, along with its intense atmosphere, Let Me Solo Her recounted his journey through the game, including its DLC. He also admitted to the universal struggle of succumbing to the werewolf in the clinic.
"Finally, I encountered the Orphan of Kos. Every Soulsborne game's DLC features a climactic boss that feels overwhelmingly powerful," he explained. "We had Promised Consort Radahn in Elden Ring, Slave Knight Gael in Dark Souls 3, and Manus, Father of the Abyss in Dark Souls 1. The Orphan of Kos was that boss for Bloodborne."This boss required more attempts than any other I've faced, pushing me to explore Chalice Dungeons to farm Blood Vials and bullets off-stream just to restock," Let Me Solo Her added, as reported by GamesRadar+. "He's undoubtedly the toughest boss in Bloodborne for me."
