A Look Back at Soul Tide
Soul Tide blended several popular genres—dungeon crawling with turn-based combat, anime girl collection, home simulation, and dungeon exploration—into a unique package. Initially launched in Japan in 2021, the game is set in a fantasy world ravaged by witches. Dating sim and roguelite elements further enhanced its diverse gameplay.
Soul Tide initially garnered positive reviews, praised for its engaging gameplay and storybook-inspired visuals. Unlike many gacha games, the characters possessed depth and personality. However, challenges arose over time, including challenging gacha rates, a less-than-intuitive UI, and occasional translation inconsistencies.
While the game is nearing its end, it remains available on the Google Play Store for those wishing to utilize remaining resources.
