Spawn Joins Mortal Kombat Mobile as Iconic Anti-Hero

Author : Zachary Apr 20,2025

Mortal Kombat Mobile, the mobile adaptation of the iconic fighting game series, is set to thrill fans with the introduction of a major guest character: Spawn. The anti-hero, created by Todd McFarlane, makes his return to the Mortal Kombat universe, based on his appearance in Mortal Kombat 11. Joining Spawn is the beloved series character Kenshi, sporting his MK1 look, promising to bring exciting new dynamics to the game.

Spawn, whose real name is Al Simmons, is a character with a dark backstory. After being murdered, he strikes a deal with the Devil, returning to Earth as a supernatural vigilante with the potential to unleash the Apocalypse. First published in the nineties, Spawn is one of Image Comics' flagship characters and has been a popular guest character request for the Mortal Kombat series.

Necroplasm Overload - While some purists might scoff at a mobile version of the beloved fighting game, there's no doubt that fans of both Spawn and Mortal Kombat will be excited to see this dark anti-hero back in action. Spawn, modeled after his Mortal Kombat 11 incarnation, is now available in Mortal Kombat Mobile. The update also introduces three new Friendship finishers and one Brutality, along with the new Hellspawn dungeons for players to conquer. You can download the game on the iOS App Store and Google Play now!
