Star Wars Celebration unveiled exciting news for fans of the Star Wars: Visions series, confirming that Volume 3 will premiere on October 29, 2025. This highly anticipated volume will bring nine new short films, each crafted by renowned Japanese anime studios such as Studio Trigger, WIT Studio, David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q. These studios promise to deliver stunning visuals and compelling narratives, further expanding the Star Wars universe.

In addition to the new volume, fans learned that three episodes will continue storylines from previous seasons. These include "The Duel" by Kamikaze Douga, "The Village Bride" by Kinema citrus Co., and "The Ninth Jedi" by Production I.G. This continuity adds depth to the anthology, connecting fans with their favorite narratives.

A particularly thrilling announcement was the upcoming spin-off series tied to "The Ninth Jedi." Kenji Kamiyama, the writer and director, shared at Star Wars Celebration that the journey of Kara will be further explored in this new series. This spin-off will allow for longer, more detailed storytelling within the Star Wars: Visions universe, giving fans an opportunity to delve deeper into the lore.
