Shift Up's CFO, Ahn Jae-woo, recently indicated that a PC version of Stellar Blade is under consideration, viewing it as a strong avenue for further monetization of the IP. This decision, according to Ahn, reflects the growing PC market share within the AAA gaming landscape and the current PS5 console distribution.
CEO Kim Hyung-Tae confirmed the review of a PC version but couldn't provide a release date due to contractual obligations. This aligns with the company's public filings which mention both a PC release and a potential sequel.
Kim emphasized Shift Up's commitment to building a high-value IP, fostering a global fanbase, and avoiding potentially harmful practices like excessive microtransactions.
