Supercell, the studio behind Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars, has unveiled a sneak peek of their upcoming game, "Boat Game," currently recruiting for its initial alpha test. The announcement, initially a subtle teaser trailer on X (formerly Twitter), is now also available on YouTube.

What Kind of Game is Boat Game?
The gameplay remains somewhat enigmatic. The trailer showcases a unique blend of third-person shooting and naval combat, a compelling combination. Players navigate the seas, evading cannon fire, and engage in island-based, pirate-themed combat. Intriguing surreal elements suggest the possibility of a battle royale mode, although this is unconfirmed. Watch the trailer below and decide if you're interested in the alpha.
Rumors of a Supercell third-person shooter project, codenamed "boatgame," circulated last year. This could be that project, or it might be another title that may not see a full release. Supercell has a history of quickly launching and shelving games that don't meet expectations.
Despite the uncertainty, the game's land and sea gameplay warrants attention. Visit their official website for further updates.
