The Nintendo Switch 2 is on the horizon, set to launch in 2025, and fans are buzzing with anticipation. With a Nintendo Direct scheduled for April 2nd, excitement is at an all-time high. But before the official reveal, some sharp-eyed fans have already uncovered what appears to be the final design of the console, including a mysterious new feature.
Nintendo Switch 2 Features the New C Button
Nintendo has launched a new smartphone app called "Nintendo Today," designed to keep players updated with the latest news and game information directly from their mobile devices. Within the app's promotional images on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, a significant detail was spotted. One image prominently features the text, "Get updates on Nintendo Switch 2 news plus game info, videos, comics, and more every day."
Upon closer inspection of this image, fans noticed what seems to be the final design of the Nintendo Switch 2. This includes newly designed Joycons and the confirmation of a new button on the right Joycon. This button, initially seen as a black square beneath the Home button in the January teaser, has now been identified as the "C button."
While the function of the C button remains a mystery, it's expected that all will be revealed during the upcoming Nintendo Direct. The anticipation surrounding this new feature adds another layer of excitement to the already eagerly awaited console launch.
