HoYoverse's Tears of Themis Unveils "Ballad of the Dunes" Collaboration
Tears of Themis has launched a new collaborative event, "Ballad of the Dunes," partnering with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This exciting crossover seamlessly blends the game's signature detective elements with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a city nestled on the edge of the Gobi Desert.
What's New in "Ballad of the Dunes"?
This event offers a captivating blend of history, romance, and mystery, immersing players in the atmosphere of the ancient Silk Road. Key additions include:

Four New MR Cards: Featuring Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, each card showcases unique Dunhuang cultural elements, from flying apsaras and intricate murals to the traditional pipa. The art style is inspired by the Mogao Caves and reflects the artistic fusion of the Silk Road era (Western Han Dynasty, 202 BC–8 AD).

Unique Card Stories: Each MR card ("In the Footsteps of Silk," "Serenade of the Soul," "Reverberation Through Time," and "Void of Creation") offers a distinct narrative, further enhanced by accompanying Private Messages that delve into a thousand-year journey.

Event Rewards
From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. The core gameplay involves a cell-flipping board game to reveal prizes. The ultimate reward is a choice of one of the four new Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Flipping 100 cells unlocks the exclusive "Celebration – Dunes" Namecard.
